LMC YOUNG GUNS

Mitch McNabb

My Name is Mitch McNabb. I started hunting with my dad and my uncle Curt when I was 7. I have learned gun safety and about the outdoors by watching and listening. I enjoy hunting deer, turkey and most of all geese. I have been around Lynch Mob calls my whole life, when I get older I want to be as good a caller as my uncle. I look forward to every chance I get to hunt, My dad gave me my first Goose Noose when I was 8. With the help of Jeremy Abbas and my uncle, I look forward to being a great goose hunter and caller. When I’m not hunting I play baseball, football and basketball. I go to school at Panorama in Panora, IA.

Mike Adams
Mike Adams loved hunting even before he could pull the trigger or sling an arrow. He used to tag along in the deer blind with his father and watch wildlife and just take it in. Once he was of age to hunt it changed his following in life, deer, turkey, duck, goose, fish. What ever it was, he chased it. His favorite type of hunting is goose hunting, armed with a shotgun and a Lynch Mob Call he calls his own game!!! He loves to field hunt with the "In Your Face" action of the hunt, wings down and commin' in is his game. Mike grew up and lives in Mid-Michigan, in a Rural town called Linden. On top of hunting Mike also likes to bass fish in the spring, summer and when ever he has time in the fall (never). Mike is also a Up North Journal prostaffer and does his own podcast with his father weekly. His favorite call of George's is the Goose Noose, this was his first Lynch Mob Call and still uses it to this date.

Cutler Palar

My name is Cutler Palar.  I started going hunting with my dad, my brother and my dad’s friends when I was 5.  I shot my first turkey when I was 7 years old.  I have been going goose hunting with my dad and his friends for several years.  Ever since I started hunting the hunting party comes to my house to meet.  I am getting my first Lynch Mob call this year and I look forward to learning how to use it.  Right now, I get to sit in the blind and watch to see how everything is done.  I look forward to being able to use a call and to shoot my first goose.  I enjoy spending time with my dad and the guys hunting turkey, geese and pheasants.  I am a 4th grader at Carlisle Schools in Carlisle, Iowa.  In addition to hunting, I also play baseball, basketball and football.

Maia Minier

My Name is Maia Minier I am 12 years old and live in Athens Michigan. When I was little I would always listen to my Dad blow on his calls and practice shooting.  My favorite part was when he brought home his birds so we all could see them. I am an animal lover and It takes  a whole bunch to get me to think positive about shooting the bird. My dad is the one who brought  me to where I am now in my hunting stages. I have shot 1 goose and 1 duck. I am happy to say that I am getting back on schedule and ready to shoot again and start advancing my calling for geese and start learning how to call for ducks. I’m hoping that one day we can have more women in the sport of waterfowl. As my dad says “ Call it Kill it Cook it.”  Thank you

Alex Butterfields
Alex is eleven years old. He has loved hunting and fishing from the beginning. He studied hard in school so that he could pass his hunter’s safety course at the young age of 9. Alex has had a very successful start in his hunting career. His first hunting feat was getting 2 doves on his first hunt. On his first duck hunt, he got his limit of ducks and used less than a box shells. He even got two ducks in one shot, a Dutch Double. Recently he bagged his first turkey.

Alex lives, breathes and sleeps hunting and fishing. His new addition to his hunting equipment is a 14 month old lab named, Vapor.  She loves hunting as much as Alex does! This should be a great hunting pair.

Alex  is always sneaking outside practicing his bird calls on his favorite Lynch Mob calls. In fact, he has gotten the involved in bird calling. Hunting has given Alex a great opportunity to spend time with his dad, Blaine, Grandpa Richard, and his Uncle Ray. I think that this is his favorite part of hunting!

NoahNoah Rich-Sherwood
My name is Noah Rich-Sherwood. I am 15 years old. I live in Spokane, WA. I have been chaseing waterfowl since the age of 4. I have been involved in the shooting since the age of 10. My main passion is geese. The feeling I get when their wings are cupped and there feet are down just blows my mind. My first waterfowl hunt was with my dad, grandpa and uncle. Ever sice then i have been hooked on the sport. My first kill was a goose with a remington 870 express 20 guage shotgun. I have been laying down the hammer on ducks and geese ever since.

Parker ClemensParker Clemens
My name is Parker Clemens and I am 16 years old. I attend Cuyahoga Falls High School in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio as a junior. I was only recently introduced into waterfowl hunting, although I have been hunting since I was 8 starting with small game and moving my way up. I ended up getting into pheasant hunting and that’s when I fell in love with wing shooting. I fell in love with goose hunting the first time I went out, and can’t get enough of it. I guess you can say I’m addicted. I love the art of calling in geese; it’s pretty awesome that you can fool them with their own language. I like all waterfowl hunting, but I prefer to chase Canada geese in fields out of layout blinds. All summer long I wait and wait for the season to draw near. And when it does finally come we show them no mercy. Three words a waterfowler can’t wait to here are kill'em boys. A lot of my influence came from my buddy John the Goose Commander, George and Adam Lynch, the Fowl fighters, my Dad and Grandpa.

Wyatt Schmersal

Wyatt Schmersal, is 14 years old and lives in the small town of Middle Point, Ohio. I have an older brother Damien, my twin Dalton and my youngest brother Cole. Coming from a family of four boys makes competition tough around our house. I began my hunting experience at a young age. With having such a large group as dad says, we started out squirrel hunting the small woods around our county. Dad figured this would give us all the opportunity to go. My first experience with waterfowl hunting was when we all went on a guided hunt for geese about three years ago. That was all it took to get me “hooked”. Now my brothers and I all have our own Game Over, Dead End and Deucy game call from the Brotherhood line of calls and try to practice when we can. We also have two beagles that we like to take rabbit hunting. In the off seasons, I like to play baseball, soccer, fish, turtle trap, shoot trap and basically anything outdoors. .

Dalton Schmersal

My name is Dalton Schmersal, I live in the very small town of Middle Point, Ohio and I am 14 years old. I am the 3rd child of four boys. I have a twin brother Wyatt, older brother Damien and younger one is Cole. I am an avid outdoorsman. I started out squirrel hunting at a young age with my dad and brothers. It was something we could all do as a family. We then moved on to rabbit hunting with our two beagles Molly and Toby. But the real fun did not start until dad took us on the guided goose hunt in northeastern Ohio, three years ago. After watching the flocks of geese fly over and hearing the guide yell “cut em”, I was addicted. Now there is nothing like laying in the ground blind in freezing temperatures waiting on the geese to “hopefully” fly over our geese spread. If you have ever been to Van Wert County you will understand what I mean by hopefully, geese and ducks are few and far between. A flock of 25 – 30 geese is a lot for us. In the off season I play baseball and soccer.

Cole Schmersal

My name is Cole Schmersal, I am the youngest of four boys. My brothers are Damien, Dalton and Wyatt. I am 12 years old and have been hunting for quite a few years. Having three older brothers makes competition around our house very tough. I started out squirrel hunting in the small woods in our area. I have recently inherited two beagles their names are Toby and Molly. I love to rabbit hunt but after going on a guided goose hunt is when all the fun started. I was instantly addicted when I saw them coming in on a line and I heard the guide yell, “cut em!” Now there’s nothing more exciting than the sound of geese honking and ducks quacking. Last year for Christmas I got a new semi auto inertia driven Stoeger 2000 that’s max-4 just for duck and goose hunting. I live in a small rural village of Middle Point, Ohio so there isn’t many birds but every once and a while we get lucky or go down to Grand Lake St. Mary’s to duck and goose hunt. I also like to play summer and fall baseball, soccer, run track, turtle trap, and shoot trap. I am always busy.
